He's just stating his opinion to the world at large.
And I think it's dead on, especially:
"If you're making judgments about #LucyFlores based on whether it helps Bernie Sanders, you're getting it wrong.
"If you're making judgments based on whether it hurts Bernie Sanders, you're also getting it wrong."
