I may have to join in after the bridge
People don't seem to understand that the Socialist Worker's Party was created by Trotsky. Or that JFK stood in West Berlin shoulder to shoulder with Willy Brandt, a western socialist. I was living in West Germany when that happened. The wall was being built while I was there. There was daily news with pic of people getting shot trying to escape across the border to the West. Thing is I was equally distant in between East Germany and Dachau. I has first hand knowledge of the horrors of Communism and Fascism. NATO was a force of liberal democracy. Things got really crazy during the Cuban Missle Crisis. It was maneuver time. They called us dependents in and give us a lesson on fleeing Warsaw Pact invaders. We knew it was pretty much all over if things went nuclear.
It was clear that there was more than one kind of socialism but the ones connected to Russia were not good ones.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
