(4,533 posts)Imagine a list with 100 rows, representing running 100 elections. In the first column enter a 1 if Bernie wins the nomination, 0 if he doesnt. Order the rows from low to high. So the first 61 rows have zero, next 39 have 1. In the second column enter a 0 if Bernie loses the election and a 1 if he Wins. The 1s in the second column will be limited to the rows where there is a 1 in the first column, right? In other words the entries in column 2 which have a 1 are limited to the last 39 rows. In the last 39 rows how many have a 1 in column 2? 25. So in the 39 rows in which Bernie gets the nomination how many times did he win the election, getting a 1 in column 2? 25. Out of 39 times he got the nomination he won 25. So he won 25 of the 39 times he was on the ballot.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
