...his strong 2nd place finish and the resulting "comeback kid" narrative propelled him forward (he went on to be the only person to win the nomination after losing both IA and NH). Biden, likewise, could really use a strong 2nd place finish in NH.

While caucuses are absurd and the fact that we start with 2 of the whitest states in the US is absurd, it's also absurd for people to be saying things like, "IA and NH don't matter" (as many laughable DU posts have claimed in recent days). Those folks are either in denial or brand spankin' new to following politics. History suggests that IA and NH very much matter, though this year's IA fiasco does dampen its influence. Those contests don't matter because they produce a lot of delegates but because they produce an influential narrative. Even if some within the DU bubble deny that, it's clear that the Biden camp knows Biden needs a strong showing in NH.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
