(37,364 posts)contempt for the Democratic party. He is not interested in a bigger tent nor are a portion of the people he attracts. There is no amount of sugar coating that can cover his goal of a hostile takeover of the party. This was something known in the last election and is the flip side of the Trump-Tea Party coalition. Why should Democrats stand by and let this happen?
He wasn't even a member and he still isn't. He was duplicitous about saying he would join just like he was is about releasing his tax records and medical records. Sound familiar?
I am a Democrat. I consider him a demagogue. His policies are not achievable nor does he appear to care that scorching the earth to achieve them will burn real people in the process. I don't like him or trust his judgment or words. It is my right to not like him and say so. Otherwise, we are adopting Trump's rules.
