Everyone says "no socialism!" But, really, what you don't want is corporate socialism. That's what we have now. We give the corporations all this leverage, and the average citizen suffers. The tax breaks are given to the corporations. The average citizen pays more in taxes percentage-wise than the corporations pay. We need socialism for the people. Not to help the corporations. How many decades do we need to figure out that trickle-down economics just doesn't work for the regular citizen?
