(4,341 posts)Elizabeth Warren has already been labeled as a socialist, and Obama was labeled as a socialist. Lets stop pretending this is exclusive to Sanders, we are only hurting ourselves.
What we should be doing instead is explaining that NONE of the Democratic candidates are socialists, they promote progressive ideas that include Democracy, Regulated Capitalism, and Social Programs that benefit everyone, such as "Universal Healthcare", "Free Education". Democrats must also bring to light the socialism that exists for the elites and the corporations, how they benefit from socialist tax cuts, and other socialist benefits that save them a ton of money.
We need to stop allowing republican talking points to dominate our conversation and to divide us by attacking our own.
