42. I don't agree that Obama's win in the 2008 primaries was all that decisive.

It was the closest race in the history of the Democratic nominating contest since the people began choosing the candidate.

It was much closer than McGovern over Muskie, Carter over Udall, Carter over Kennedy, Mondale over Hart, Dukakis over Gephardt/Jackson/Gore, Clinton over Tsongas/Brown, Gore over Bradley, Kerry over Edwards, or HRC over Sanders.

The nearest competitor would be Mondale/Hart 1984, and the margin was much more narrow under Obama/Clinton.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
