maybe it is not thus, but it sure as hell looks like it. Why? Because the most valuable, precious, and limited resource a Senator and presidential candidate has is TIME. And shopping at Ross is a bad allocation of one's hyper-limited time due to the variability and unreliability of their stock. Thus one must conclude this is merely virtue signaling. Utterly transparent, manipulative virtue signaling.
One must ask what he thinks of voters' intelligence that he thinks such a gambit will be helpful.
