You're absolutely right in that rump is mentally a toddler and doesn't know what's going on, and proves that he's incompetent on a daily basis. How he didn't get vetted properly by the republican party leaves one to wonder under what criteria the republicans actually operate with?

None, I am thinking, other than pure, raw power, and that's it. Nothing to do with helping others, nothing to do with fixing problems, nothing to do with fixing the human condition. Just an outsized ego. Sad and pathetic because it is apparent to all that he is clearly incompetent. The only thing rump has going for him is (besides an outsized ego) is dexterity on texting nonsense and being a bully.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
