19. Gun legislation is why he helped Republicans

in at least a couple races. It was less that they were for gun legislation but that the Democrats holding the seats were not supportive enough of gun control.

He took a very short term view to punish those Democrats, ironically shooting himself in the foot for chances of passing future gun laws. (Pun fully intended)

The side effects have cascaded through the years, affecting many laws, nominations and even the impeachment trial.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
