(146,284 posts)I don't see Sanders having coattails that will give us a majority in the Senate. We might even lose some House seats. So, Bernie's high ideas about making huge changes would almost certainly not be realized.
Still, I think he has a very poor chance of becoming the nominee. I think he has hit his ceiling of support at this point, and that someone else will end up with the nomination. It could be Biden, or Klobuchar or Bloomberg. I'm beginning to think that Bloomberg will end up pulling it out of his hat, somehow.
Biden would beat Trump. Bloomberg would beat Trump. Amy Klobuchar might beat Trump, but that would be a close call.
Sanders, however, I believe, would lose to Trump in a landslide that would end up destroying US democracy for decades, if not forever. Still, he'll get my vote, just as have all Democrats who have run since 1968. I could vote in no other way.
