What are you basing your position on? Do you have numbers, polling data that supports this idea that Sanders can not win against Trump? Or is it just your opinion? These things can become self-fulfilling prophecies. If one person says that Bernie can't win, they might convince someone else that this is true, and that person may not go out and vote for Sanders. And so on with other voters.
This view could reduce turnout if Sanders wins the nomination. We need to support and fight for whoever gets the nomination, whether it is Sanders or someone else. This self-defeatism is mentally weak, in my opinion. So, I do not think this is "the truth". Back your position up with numbers, or at least admit that this is your opinion, not a fact, or "truth" as you put it.
