72. The superdelegates WILL vote on the second ballot.

It's not a question, really.

The answer to all of this may well come on March 4, when we see the results from the Super Tuesday states. If things go as I expect, we will have a much clearer picture then of how things are settling out in this primary season.

Right now, we just have results from two states with very small delegations at the convention. We also have a new candidate who didn't participate in those states, but who is advertising heavily in every Super Tuesday state. We have no idea how he will fare or whether Bernie Sanders and Mayor Pete will do on March 3. The entire thing may flip on March 3.

That's only two weeks and change from today. We won't have to wait very long.
