"Vote Blue No Matter Who" voters. I suspect he was thinking specifically of Bernie supporters, or, in fact, any supporters who are "My guy or I won't vote Democratic" people. For example, the people who were, "Bernie wins the nomination or I'll vote Jill Stein because it will send a strong message" people from the 2016 election. And yes, any "Biden wins the nomination or I won't vote Democratic" people would be just as bad.
If you aren't "Vote Blue No Matter Who" you probably really do not understand how truly terrible Trump would be when, in a second term, he would feel completely unbound to break whatever laws he likes.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
