$365,000 in their house (paid off), $850,000 in Retirement accounts and $560,000 in her senate pension. The couple makes about $300,000 a year. $174,000 as a Senator and the rest from his salary teaching at Georgetown and University of Baltimore.

In other words pretty much like Pete's parents if the were careful with their money and where Pete will be when he grows up.
