Democratic Primaries
Showing Original Post only (View all)So Bloomberg's going negative. Against the *supporters* of another candidate. [View all]
So much for the "Bloomberg is aiming squarely at Trump" thing. I guess there's two weeks until Super Tuesday and he's still way behind in the polls, so here we go.
Really, I can't think of a worse long-term plan than running ads against Democratic voters who support another candidate. Particularly when that candidate is currently leading the polls. That's 25 to 30 percent of the Dem primary electorate he's going after. And in head-to-head polls, Bernie leads Bloomberg by about 20 points.
He's basically putting out a slick video version of this parody twitter post...

It's not a "bloc" of voters - it's a subset of supporters who have been vicious and threatening....

You're ignoring basic facts here. It's not the campaign. And the DCCC did do blacklisting.
