Democratic Primaries

(16 posts)Hickenlooper and Bennet are worthless. It would be nice if Corporate Dems like them found the door. Gardner is very unpopular, and we don't need another Bennet for a senator. It would be nice if the party machinery didn't force him on us. Bennet was a disaster for Denver Public Schools. Hickenlooper is part of the same corporate machinery. The DPS superintendent role is a stepping stone for Education Secretary - See Boasberg, who was ready to jump ship under the assumption HRC would win the presidency. She didn't, and what did that clown do? Took a 6 month sabbatical to Argentina (knowing that a teacher strike was on the horizon). Instead of dealing with the strike, he bailed out. I presume he's working for some thinktank on Ed Reform (which has been a joke). Hickenlooper, of course watched all of this from the Governor's mansion, and these are the "Dems" we need?
I'm a Bernie supporter, and in turn know many more, and the whole notion that it would hurt down-ticket is insane. There's no way I (and those I know) wouldn't vote for that corporate clown Hickenlooper over Gardner. However, in the time of primaries, the democratic party better start to realize that the electorate has changed, and is changing, and DLC style candidates are not going to connect with the number of voters that will drag them past the finish line.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
