a candidate in a smoke-filled room runs the risk of depressing turnout and angering part of the base, if Democratic voters don't feel that the candidate is the person who the voters have chosen through a democratic process.

It's not just the outcome, it's also the process that yields the outcome that matters.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
