I think there are much better uses for the limited amount of time candidates have to describe their intentions should they become President, and how they will deal with the various potential challenges of that office. But I'm also aware that a media dependent on ginning up tempests in teacups will grab onto anything they think might make people clutch pearls and argue about irrelevancies, so it's possible some moderator will bring it up.
Whoopety-doo, if they do. I suspect Bloomberg is well-prepared for such a query and will make the moderator look as petty and stupid as Buttigieg manages to make everyone who brings up his marital status look.
Ditto on the opponents thing. The ones who haven't already been made to look like asses for pecksniffing other candidates' marital status might try, I suppose. We'll learn something valuable either way.
