The contest is perfectly fair. Voters are deciding who they want as the nominee.

But if the candidates wanted to change the rules of the game (I think they may realize soon they're stuck), I could see them making a move like combining to form VP tickets, maybe a Biden/Warren ticket, and a Bloomberg/Klobuchar ticket. That might uncrowd things enough to make a difference, because at this point, why would Warren or Klobuchar or Buttigieg drop out? They have delegates. They're getting to be in debates. They're going to wait for a really good offer because they have zero to gain by dropping out, and if they do, Biden or Bloomberg will just put Kamala Harris or Abrams on the ticket as VP.
