Most of the people that you would be trying to reach would be utterly immune to your argument and would assume that nothing of the kind could ever happen in America. Naturally, that's because they are often ignorant and almost always take liberal government for granted. Then they vote for Republicans--against the very liberals who fight to ensure liberal government and who have long fought to insure that the dystopia you describe does not come to fruition. Being a sane liberal is a thankless task.
