(13,849 posts)....is that your life experience is not the same as the life experiences of most of Bernie's coalition. You see him as something terribly negative because you lived through the Cold War? Like Chris Matthews equates him with Fidel Castro and says his rise is akin to the fall of France to Hitler? While most of Bernie's base see honesty in him, and compassion for those who are struggling, and the promise of a life that is better than the oligarchy squeezing the life out of too many people, and consistency in his advocacy throughout his entire career.
They hate Trump just as you do. And they believe (as polling shows) that Trump would lose to Bernie.
Now. Democrats can either dither and fight each other over purity, or Democrats can put their energy toward election security issues. Because THAT is the real danger here. States are still buying hackable systems, and Trump has a plan to get the election to SCOTUS for resolution.
Skip the hysteria and get to work.
