58. Maybe....and maybe not.

Feb 2020

I've heard and read lots of conflicting information regarding his heart attack and the medical info provided so far.

I listen to Thom Hartmann whenever I can on Youtube in the mornings, from 12-3 ET. I believe he said that Lyndon Johnson had several heart attacks prior to his inauguration. Of course he did die of a heart attack some years after his presidency. FDR was a victim of Polio his whole adult life. This jackass we have in the White House today could topple over dead any day, if Melanie continues her prayers. I'm just not so certain his heart attack is that big of a deal. The rest of his vitals are excellent.

I'd like to hear some actual first hand info on this subject instead of thread hearsay.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
Statistically speaking, there's a 45% chance he'll have another heart attack by October. George II Feb 2020 #1
Oh, wow! Really? NurseJackie Feb 2020 #6
Yes, a 45% chance that a 78 year old will have another heart attack within a year of his first. George II Feb 2020 #12
My goodness. That would be tragic. A real shame. NurseJackie Feb 2020 #15
You're an actual nurse? Dear lord. John Fante Feb 2020 #78

So if he's our nominee, let's hope he picks a great VP! n/t thesquanderer Feb 2020 #53
So you'll concede that George II and I are making valid points? NurseJackie Feb 2020 #55
Sure. I'll concede choice of VP is especially important for ANY of our 77+ year old candidates. thesquanderer Feb 2020 #57

It is an issue. Heart attacks affect the brain, too. Julian English Feb 2020 #17
It's not an issue to me. All the candidates with a chance are old enough to stroke out at any point. Hoyt Feb 2020 #22
