In reply to the discussion: Joe Biden's Paid Speech Buoyed the G.O.P. in Midwest Battleground [View all]MineralMan
(151,304 posts)I see that he mentioned someone in the audience who he knew, and complimented him for a law that supported medical research. But, what was the speech about? People often recognize people in an audience as part of the introductory matter of a speech. But, what was the primary content of that speech?
I see it was a "wide-ranging discourse on American politics." I wonder what he said. Does anyone know?
"I see Representative Upton is here. His support for the bi-partisan fight against cancer is particularly notable to me, given the loss of my son to that horrible disease. I've worked with Representative Upton - one of the finest guys I've ever worked with..."
And then he went on with his speech. What was it about? Anybody know?
And the oppo research from some continues. Terrific!
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
