(67,782 posts)The event at which he spoke was a fundraiser for a foundation that sponsors cancer research, it wasn't a campaign event. The nerve of Joe to help cancer research!!!! With his family history, I wouldn't be surprised if much of the money he got for speaking there was donated to the American Cancer Society.
