You don't think that Democratic Candidates have promised a better world for the Young Voters for years. In your words with some changes … What happened to those young voters when Democratic Candidates ran before and didn't deliver? Maybe they realized that a lot of previous campaigns were just lip service and politics. If Bernie fights for the things they believe in and were told he believes int, it may not and in my opinion wont have the consequences you put forth as a certainty. My opinion is based on the fact that the Republicans have kept power even though a minority of this country by putting forth candidates like Reagan who did not actually accomplish the promises to his electorate such as eliminating abortion. However, they felt that he was consistent, was not lieing, and actually fought for what he believe in. That, in my opinion, is the actual factor in determining the reaction of the electorate to any candidate whether its Biden, Bernie or any other candidate we put up. Public and Private positions might not really work as well as consistency and belief.
