But I have very little faith that the brainwashing you mention is going to be reversed in one election cycle. While you, I, us, may be willing to pay more, there will be others that won't for the reasons you cited above.

Cut entire military budget, which is fine with me, but it wouldn't pay 25% of MFA.

Doubtful -- we are picking up uninsured, 100% of cost, offering "free" dental, etc. That may be good
