who went from supporting Sanders to supporting Warren.
Sanders camp admits anti-Warren script was deployed in multiple early states
Sanders initially attributed the talking points to rogue staffers, and supporters launched an online campaign to convince people the document was fake.

His "both sides are doing this, and I don't support any harassment in general" was a non-admonishment of that harassment.
#WarrenIsASnake is a hashtag his supporters use.
He is the only candidate that has felt a need to remind his supporters, at the beginning of his campaign, to be "respectful" of those who disagree. Clearly many didn't view it as a serious request.
I think he's aware that his supporters will attack whoever disagrees with him. He himself has a history of referring to anyone who does disagree with him in any way as wrong at best, and corrupt at worst, and I think that he attracts - and in some ways emboldens - many with a similar dualistic point of view.
His campaign staffing choices certainly express this POV:

Maybe I'm missing something, but that doesn't seem to make strategic sense.

Warren has some relatively minor issues with Bernie and they pale in comparison with Bloomberg
