A good socialist would say that good education and good medical care are what the government OWES its people, without insisting that they give up their personal freedoms.

You can be a Frank Church and you can resist American imperialism in South America like Jimmy Carter and you can point out every evil thing we ever did in South America (my parents were Liberation Theologists and I grew up admiring Archbishop Romero and despising Reagan and Pinochet), and you don't have to defend dictators.

It's just not that difficult. Bernie needs to stand up for the resisters and not the freaking government. The GOVERNMENT in Cuba is hurting ordinary people.

Thanks for the plane fare, though. Cuba is not my cup of tea. I get all of the Cuban food and culture here without the dictatorship.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
