Cubans did not just go north.

At least 300,000 Cubans have relocated to Spain, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, and other Latin American and Caribbean countries, as well as Canada and European nations such as Germany, Italy, and France.

Much earlier, by the end of the 19th century, Cubans had established sizable communities in Key West and Tampa, Florida; New York City; and New Orleans, having fled political and economic turmoil on the island.

They've been travelling out their shithole country bringing cigars, rum, sugar, Afro-Cuban music, dance, art, literature and ballet. Yeah, all the putrid stuff shithole countries produce.

Thing is, I saw all that stuff, but I never saw a shithole country when I visited there.

But hey, if you insist, at least be consistent; Cuba wasn't shithole until conquistador and corporate slavers made it so. Smell that far back?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
