(37,074 posts)...since I am a baby boomer and deeply ashamed of what my generation as done to all future generations by latching on to Trump right and Trump left.
As I often state in my posts here, "History will not forgive us, nor should it."
You are singularly uninteresting, and we have nothing to say to one another beyond this unpleasant exchange.
It does seem you have done some mildly interesting scientific work, but of course, there are tens of thousands of papers on protein dynamics and whether yours is important or not, I cannot say, since it would be hard to sort out you in particular. I've worked on drug development for well over 30 years and have encountered many thousands of "ground shattering" concepts in science that went no where.
I will say that there is a compound I made when I was a kid of which I made the first milligram, and then watched it go to production levels at a 10 ton scale, developments in which I was invited to participate - it's a key intermediate in the treatment of AIDS related CMV - but I've also worked on projects that went nowhere.
You may think you're the next Martin Karplus, but I think the real Martin Karplus is considerably more worldly than someone who wishes to share videos of tired old man from Vermont enthusiastic about stumbling mindlessly into the climate abyss, an abyss you seem to find amusing.
Usually when confronted with uninteresting and unpleasant people on this website, even those who have done some mildly interesting work that may prove to be of little importance on scale, I expand my ignore list. I'm an old man and at my age, it's not good to engage such people on any level, since I am certainly old enough, and experienced enough to know who is and is not likely to be beyond redemption.
Happily for me, any further conversation with you is precluded on the basis of disinterest.
I wish I could wish you good luck on pushing the Independent Senator from Vermont to get the Democratic Nomination.
I have a feeling about what that will mean, should it happen.
Again, like I always say, "history will not forgive us, nor should it."
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
