First, Castro did come for Batista supporters. Batista was a monster.

Then, Castro came for people who also opposed Batista, but disagreed with Castro.

Then, Castro came for the people closest to him, people who helped him oust Batista.

The Cuban economy collapsed and people fled for something better. These people did not flee for politics, decades after Batista was long gone. These folks are economic migrants and we are happy to have them.

There are a million stories in the big city. People come to America for millions of reasons. Cuban Americans have their millions of stories, too.

Most importantly, it is slanderous to suggest that every Cuban American and their descendants supported Batista.

Were you aware the United States of America supported Batista's over throw? We did. There are a trillion stories in a free country. We are free to write our own, subject to verification.

"Alternative facts" are the tools of monster to hold and keep power.
