(13,283 posts)Provide the sources you are alluding to. Then compare the number of superdelegates who are corporate lobbyists to the number of pledged delegates who are corporate lobbyists.
If there is a meaningful difference in the results, you have a point. If not, the problem may not be with superdelegates but elsewhere.
I know it's a lot of work, but otherwise it is just hearsay.
BTW, in a peculiar and perverse way, corporate lobbyists ARE public servants. It's in the First Amendment of the Constitution: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
