(42,862 posts)I know, right? More word games like "most popular Senator" and those three words by themselves convey an entirely different meaning than what is actually meant: namely, the "most popular" among the small sample of one's own constituents. The entire state of Vermont has a population that's smaller than the city of Baltimore. Vermont's ethnic demographics are something like 99% white folk. I imagine it's VERY easy to please a SMALL group of folks who by in large have nearly IDENTICAL needs and concerns. So when you think about it, being the "most popular" among Vermonters isn't all that much of an accomplishment or something to crow about, in my opinion.
Of course, others may have a different opinion. This is my personal opinion that I'm sharing.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
