(13,913 posts)After 2016 i went to a Dems rally "Come together, fight back" or something to that effect, to see what was the message. Bernie was a part of that tour. The first thing i noticed coming into the venue was on the fliers Bernie's young supporters were passing out there was no mention of the DNC or "Democrats" listed, only "Our Revolution". It gave me a sinking feeling BS was setting himself up as the Dem-alternative, which he has lived up to till now. The reciting of some message in unison by the young Bernie-ites was cult-like. It was a wierd spectacle to behold at a political rally.
Anyhow, BS' speech at the event was the same-old same-old, and did not manage to convince me his nonsensical socialist message had any teeth to it. I only saw him for what he is - a man who despite making politics his career, had little accomplishments to show for it. Running for president was his last effort to make a name for himself.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
