(526 posts)Oddly, I, too, have been a Warren supporter from the get go. I have been thinking about this lately, as it appears my candidate won't escape Super Tuesday with enough delegates to remain viable.
While I am a progressive, I, like Liz, am a pragmatic progressive.
Although I like much of what Sanders says, he will absolutely have a negative effect on down ballot races. Bloomberg will as well from the other edge of the field.
We need to keep the House and, maybe, even eek out the Senate as well. We need Biden to do that, so that's where I'm voting next month if Warren is done.
Joe has a lot of positives. He is extremely well liked by everyone on Capital Hill, and seems to be comfortable to voters of all demographics. (Yes, that means a lot to the majority of voters who aren't as involved as us.)
Finally, there is a reason the impeached president* is most afraid of Biden, and doing his best to face Sanders. He knows his worst chance of winning is against Joe.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
