In reply to the discussion: What would be a possible position in a Biden administration for Pete Buttigieg? [View all]Firebrand Gary
(5,044 posts)35. Amy's and Pete's tweets to one another are pure love.
Pete's resume is one that should be respected. It is not often that we get an eight language multi-linguist with relevant wartime military exposure who happens to have McKinsey & Company experience. Additionally, a two-term mayor is one of the best resume entries for a cabinet-level position. Mayors are front line politicians, unlike legislators who have the luxury of shifting accountability.
We need Pete, he's the future of our party. We need Amy, she's a leader in our party. Together we're unstoppable.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

Buttigieg has no relevant experience for a top-level cabinet post like State or Defense

I agree. I think he should run for Congress or something. Get more experience.
