Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Bernie chose Joe Rogan and Cenk [View all]grantcart
(53,061 posts)59. We are saying "fuck em" to those like Rogan who hate Democrats but are
embraced by Sanders (I) Vermont.
What supports of Sanders (I) Vermont fail to understand is that as long as Sanders (I) Vermont continues to identify in the Senate as an (I) rather than a (D) then he is making the biggest daily "Fuck em" in the history of Presidential politics. Wants to take over the party but Sanders (I) Vermont won't make the smallest consideration for part solidarity.
Just saw Sanders (I) on TV saying that he would have won Super Tuesday if there was a bigger under 30 turnout (which ironically undercuts his claim that he is driving turnout).
Perhaps you should call Sanders (I) and tell him that he should stop denigrating Democrats with a general "Fuck em" message.
If Strom Thurmond and other sitting Senators were able to change party designation then it is a factors that Sanders (I) could have changed but preferred the "fuck em" message to Party leadership, long term Democratic voters and party solidarity.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Yeah, that's not a good strategy if we want Rogan's millions of listeners to vote Dem.

Some limits and standards are important. Least common denominator Trump expanded the GOP...

Fair enough, but the results so far say that Bernie IS NOT bringing in new voters...

Tbf, what self respecting Democratic candidate would look to expand the tent by including Joe Rogan?

True, but the question is, who will bring new voters in the GE, not the primary.

Can't afford Sanders "trust me". He's had a fair chances to show bring out chops and hasn't

The flip side is, Biden does better with people that are already going to vote D.

There's NO reason for the people who were NOT going to vote D to sit out voting for Sanders NOW
