Of course you dont mean that, but its an example of taking a stand on an issue that is morally and objectively correct. Just like being pro choice. We could just cave on that issue in a quest for power. But what good is having power without purpose? Doing so only leads to corruption.
Once the primary is completely done, I hope that the Democrats who have been against single payer healthcare take another objective look at it. And a look based upon what is best for the country as a whole and not just for anyones current personal or political situation.
I look forward to that discussion free from the influence of a campaign.
But for now, our remaining candidates support progress on the issue. So that is at least something.
No other candidate received the kind of coverage Warren did today when they dropped out. Heck, Warren never received the kind of coverage when she was running like she did today. That says something.
