Primarying a Dem incumbent almost ALWAYS weakens them and allows the GOP to flip the seat. It makes the incumbent spend campaign money fending off a gadfly challenger thus leaving precious few funds for the main fight of the General Election. Also, it creates resentment and division within the party and the "losers" will pout and not come out at all... thus making it more difficult for the incumbent.

What a FOOLISH WASTE OF MONEY.

They could have instead used it to go after weak Republicans... and support their Democratic challengers. The "Justice Democrats" (a Cenk Uygur creation) and Our Revolution are filled to the brim with the most unsophisticated political neophytes I've ever seen. Selfish, bitter, impatient, immature, vindictive. It's little wonder that they have such a poor track record. And it's also clear to me that the 5% of the winners who were endorsed by "JD" and "OR" would have won their contests anyway.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
