In reply to the discussion: What Bernie Sanders Is Like In Private [View all]StarfishSaver
(18,486 posts)38. "He has a history of angry outbursts, especially when he believes people aren't working hard enough"
"As a boss, Mr. Sanders is notoriously tough. Former aides have described him as demanding and particular, sometimes to a fault. In many ways, he is the quintessential Brooklyn diner patron: The service is never quite fast enough, and what they deliver is never quite what he ordered.
"Mr. Sanders 'never makes you feel like youre good enough to be in the room with him,' one former aide said."
Interesting to find this buried as an "oh, by the way" in a balanced story about Bernie's personality - more than a year after the same NY Times smeared all over its front page a story alleging Amy Klobuchar's toughness made her an abusive boss.
How Amy Klobuchar Treats Her Staff
Senator Amy Klobuchar was hungry, forkless and losing patience.
An aide, joining her on a trip to South Carolina in 2008, had procured a salad for his boss while hauling their bags through an airport terminal. But once onboard, he delivered the grim news: He had fumbled the plastic eating utensils before reaching the gate, and the crew did not have any forks on such a short flight.
What happened next was typical: Ms. Klobuchar berated her aide instantly for the slip-up.

Ha! Reminds me: Some diva singers also demand a bowl full of M&M's with the green ones removed...

I don't see anything here about screaming at his employees to the point of making them cry.

You don't see the problem with running a story in February 2019 headlined

I'm just pointing to the fact that there's no comparison: hers were personal attacks on an employee.

No. Reporters aren't supposed to wait until they "receive info" to do stories like this

That is actually a good article, and this OP is a petty attack piece that has nothing to do with
