In reply to the discussion: Warren was a once-in-a-lifetime candidate [View all]MineralMan
(151,597 posts)109. Well, a lot of people who really liked Elizabeth Warren this year
didn't like Hillary Clinton at all back in 2016. So, it's like she didn't count, despite winning a majority of the popular vote and being the first woman nominated by a major political party for President in history.
It's almost like she never existed and never ran and won the popular vote.
I find that very disturbing, frankly. I was as excited to have her as our Candidate in 2016, as I was to have Barack Obama as our candidate in 2008. Both were groundbreaking, revolutionary nominees. I was excited to vote for both of them, too.
But, many others in our Party were not happy with Hillary Clinton as our nominee, and not just the men, either.
It's incredibly sad, to me, frankly.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
