I do not understand why people haven't figured this out yet. I'm not saying we should abandon any state (if only for down ballot reasons), but we have to first secure what we can. That cannot involve any dilution of our standard bearers core message and appeal.
Another candidate than Biden may have had a bit more flexibility. But the idea of Bide is firmly implanted into the voting consciousness (as is the idea of Sanders). Much like the Clinton/Gore double down it will be important for Biden to find a true and perceived logical partner.
This is not 2016. The reality of Trump is an entirely different thing then the idea of Trump.

She could run as VP as the incumbent Senator, if we lose, she will still be Senator
