Product liability laws in the US generate a lot of lawsuits and contingency fees and class action can result in billions in corporate expense. Some new side effect previously not discovered during clinical trials can result in a class action suit with lawyers advertising for plaintiffs who sort of fit the criteria.

One major suit like that can bankrupt a company.

One can spew as much venom as one wants at the pharma companies but without them, there would no new life-saving drugs to help people. Bernie just picks corporations as his favorite whipping post because he has never worked a single day doing valuable research in the pharma or medical field. It just sounds like Bernie is envious of success.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
