A question for the ones pushing for Warren to be Biden running mate [View all]

First, shouldn't she endorse him, first?

I hope that he has enough self respect not to beg someone who has not.

But even if this bit of obstacle gets out of the way:

Neither she nor Harris, perhaps others, are not the kind who would be second to anyone. This is why they ran to be president in the first place.

Though, when there are more than 20 running: Republicans in 2016 and Democrats now, many just want to get into the headlines to secure a cabinet position. Or to sell books..

And one would hope that Warren has her own self respect to after asking in what primaries Biden was running, to not now change her opinion and to decide that he was right.

In general, nominees do not choose running mates from previous rivals, certainly not aggressive ones who would overshadow them.

Reagan chose papa Bush because he was low key.

Similarly Obama selected Biden in 2008 because Biden dropped after Iowa and because, yes, Biden is a low key which does on occasion aggravate many supporters. Also, Biden's vast experience in foreign affairs which Obama lacked.

As I have posted before: Biden, while does not need any advice for me, should select someone who can be in a lockstep with him so that if he does not finish his term and, no doubt, he is well aware of it, will not try to then start his/her own ideas.

Bill Clinton, a young 45 year old candidate said how strange it felt to select a running mate, like picking Hillary's next husband.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
