(146,288 posts)However, we're all going to have to find a focus for our individual GOTV efforts, I think. Instead of wasting them on people who will NOT vote, we should focus on those who are likely to vote if we give them a little push.
There is no point in wasting our time on the disaffected and on those who could not even be bothered to vote in the primaries. Instead, we should turn our attention to those who have voted in the past, those who are eager to vote but who have been blocked from voting, and on those who have grown to dislike Donald Trump, due to his actions or inaction.
For those who remember the last presidential general election campaign, much time was wasted trying to convince people to vote for Clinton who had no intention whatever of doing so. That time was misspent. I'd like it if we simply avoided that group this year.
