(2,113 posts)Because I don't want to come across like I'm attacking him. I just want Democrats to beat Trump. That is my only motivation.
Everytime I try to listen to and watch him I lose interest very quickly. I don't find him all that engaging or charismatic and there is very little variation in his tone of voice. I wouldn't say straight up monotone, just kind of boring. As I just put in another reply I made it was the same reaction I had to John Kerry and Al Gore. He also comes across as really scripted to me and I just don't like that.
He is a nice guy, very smart and has a lot going for him. I think he would be a very good VP candidate and eventually president running against a different opponent...just not now and not Trump. There's just way too much at stake. I hope that clarifies better without coming off as being mean because that's not what I'm trying to do at all.
