In reply to the discussion: One million volunteers for Bernie signed up in one week [View all]Kentonio
(4,377 posts)45. Why would there be any need to evade?
Last I checked he's polling above the other candidates with non-white voters, which is an excellent sign of progression from 2016. Whether that will translate into victory in the south is another question of course (long way to go before we can predict that) but its a promising sign that he recognized his weakness and spent these last years working to fix it. NV isn't (or at least shouldn't be) a massive danger to him, he was very close there last time around.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

That's a matter of opinion with Sanders. "Controversial" is more what comes to mind.

If Bernie is the dominant figure in the debates, then the primary schedule opens up for him

Volunteers and donors don't translate to victory. After NH comes NV, SC and Super Tuesday.

No reason other than polling data showing far higher approval and voting intentions than last time?

Especially given the recent revelations by female (& male) staffers on his last POTUS campaign. (nt)

Bet some are the same Russian bots that signed up in 2016. They never closed shop.

Considering the population of a country like Moldova is only 3.5 million, that's impressive!
