He's run or President several times. I don't remember much about any of those times,and he never came close to being the nominee.
To be fair, no one who ran in 2008 against Obama had a chance.
But one thing is certain: He's the most experienced candidate at running for President!
But seriously, he is the most experienced at national campaigning, at foreign policy, with the workings of Washington, with dealing with difficult people. This may be his time. We'll see.
The debates will be important.
